I HAVE HAD THIS SERVICE FOR OVER 2 YEARS AND OUT OF ALL OF THE CELL PHONE SERVICES THAT I HAVE HAD, BOOST MOBILE HAS BEEN BY FAR THE "WORST" SERVICE THAT I HAVE HAD YET!
HALF THE TIME MY SERVICE DOESN'T WORK, LATELY, I HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT I CAN'T EVEN GET CALL TONES ON MY PHONE, BUT THAT I CAN GET RINGTONES, AND WHEN I TRIED TO PURCHASE THE RINGTONES ON MY PHONE, IT SHOWED UP AS BEING BOUGHT IN "MY STUFF" BUT WHEN I TRIED TO ASSIGN THE RINGTONES IN MY PHONE BOOK, THEY DIDN'T WORK! IF I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW, I WOULD HAD NEVER GOTTEN SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY, AND AS SOON AS I AM ABLE TOO, I WILL BE GOING BACK TO MY OLD PHONE CARRIER! I USE TO THINK THAT SPRINT AND AT&T WERE HORRIBLE, BUT AT THIS RATE, I CAN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT WHO IS ACTUALLY WORST NOW!

Despite so many negative comments, I've had a really great experience with Boost since I joined the company over nine months ago. After years of contract headaches, I love not having to worry about dealing with one and its refreshing to switch phones based on desire rather than force. Their $50 unlimited plan seemed to be awesome and has proven to be a real money saver over my $110+ previous bills - no worry about overage fees from texting anymore.

The phone selection is pretty varied and def on the level of my previous contract carrier. The Sprint powered calling network is giving me pretty dependable coverage with the ocassional dead zone and the internet speed is better in some cases than I ever had with my previous carrier.

Speaking of dependable, Boost's parent company Sprint has a whole new program out that is really helping people get and keep a cell phone.

Their “Assurance Wireless” program is being in offered in five states and exclusively to low income, qualifying families and its an amazing deal. Qualifers can get both a phone and 200 minutes, with no fees or contract, for $10 a month with the potential to expand their program at. 10 a minute. While the program is new, I can only hope it will expand to more states and people who could also use a plan like this.

I might not be low-income, but the savings would totally help me. Times are tough and having a cell phone is a must so click here for Sprint president’s email address: http://assurancewireless.webs.com and let him know that everyone could use these savings.

Boost Mobile's "Auto Reboost" Option zeros your account before "Reboosting" to add money. I've lost way too many dollars and hours trying to work this out with customer service. It's better to manually add money or buy a card before your 90 days time out if you have money left over on your account.

My hushband has the walkie talkie phone and has the same problem its terrible and customer service consists of a group of kindergarten children that have no clue. Especially about the phones and coverage area. He has to have the walkie talkie for his job but can hardly ever use it. my phone is the cheapest one they have and I do not have nearly as much problems as he.
I guess you get what you pay for

I must disagree with this review. I have had Boost WAlkie- Talkie for the past 2 months and I have to say is the worse service I have had so far. My calls are continiously dropping and most of all I hardly ever have no service. I can be in the middle of the street, park or anywhere and for no reason at all my signal drops. Texts and calls are hardly ever coming in on time. I get voice mail alerts but the calls don't go through.

I had switched over from Metro PCS because Boost offered better reception than Metro and for the same monthly fee. I have made numerous calls to Customer care and even though I am told that they updated the phone and blah blah blah my service has not improved. I am 100% unhappy with the service I have received from Boost.

I am now in the process of switching back to Metro PCS because at least with Metro I have service mostly everywhere.
